About Me

Hey there! I'm Guy Alster, a software engineer turned engineering manager, and a lifelong tech enthusiast. I've been in the world of software for years, working hands-on with code and guiding teams to bring ideas to life. I love the blend of problem-solving and creativity that engineering brings, and I believe that great teams—and great products—are built with both passion and purpose. Outside of work, I'm a proud husband and father to three amazing kids, who bring joy, chaos, and endless curiosity into my life. Our family also includes our lovable dog - Nuget, who ensures there's always a bit of adventure in our days. When I'm not busy with family or work, you can probably find me at the piano, diving into music that's been a huge part of my life since childhood. Music is my creative escape, a place where I can just unwind and let go. Aside from music, I'm a bit of a bookworm, and love to dive into a good book. I read fiction, non-fiction, and technical books. This site is my space to share insights and ideas on software engineering, leadership, computer science, math, books, and whatever else sparks my curiosity. I'm passionate about learning and growing, both personally and professionally, and I hope these pages inspire others on their own journeys.

Thanks for stopping by—I'm excited to have you here!
